Keep It Simple Stupid
A thought occurred to me recently. What if my tendency to switch facial regimens is sabotaging my skin? I mean that’s a stupid question right? Of course it’s sabotage. Even if I happen to find one that is working I get bored and want to try something else out. That coupled with all the stress of the last few months has been making my skin freak the heck out.
So I decided for a while I am going to stick with a very basic routine. I started it last Saturday and after almost a week I can definitely see a difference. I had to get confirmation from the hubs that it wasn’t just my imagination. I asked him if my skin was looking better than it had been in the past few weeks. Wait for it. “Yes you do look better. Your skin was looking pretty greasy before so I see a big improvement, oh and the bags under your eyes are gone.” Wow…thanks for the brutal honesty jerk sweetheart.

My new routine involves BeeCeuticals Bee Clear gentle facial cleanser followed by their Bee Balanced
toner. The final step is a few drops of Earthly Body Miracle Oil. The oil has a mixture of lovely antiseptic tea tree oil, hemp and vitamin E oils. It has made my skin so soft and even toned. I still am struggling with the breakouts but it’s so much less noticeable.I’m really happy with the results so far. I’m going to keep up with it and give you guys a progress report. Now I just need someone to help me stay focused. Must.resist.temptation.

When I find myself having skin issues from trying just too many new things, I go back into my safety zone, washing with Purity Made Simple everyday for two weeks. Somehow it balances everything out and gets my skin totally back to normal before I subject it to more “research”. I am not suggesting that this product be your savior - though it is great! - whatever product that always works for you would be the one to go back to.
