Let me tell you a little bit about myself. For starters I tend to be obsessive and neurotic. Not in a cute, “Oh I just can’t go to bed with dishes in the sink”, kind of way. In fact my house is never spotless. At this moment you would be greeted by the crunch of Cheerios beneath your feet as you walk through my dining room. No, my obsessions are pretty much limited to the ridiculously topical parts of my life. This is most evident in my obsessive, bordering on unhealthy, love of lotions and moisturizers. It’s a running joke amongst my close friends and family. I have no particular product loyalty, it just has to meet a certain set of criteria. It has to be emollient yet not greasy, not too thick and not too runny. It must have a pleasant smell but not overpower me with perfumes. Of course most importantly, it needs to be made with natural ingredients and ethically manufactured. See, I told you I was obsessed. I didn’t put this much effort into finding the right college.

 When I find a product that meets my strict criteria, I get a little bit giddy. Korres Body Butter exceeds my expectations. I am in love with the Yogurt scent. It smells fresh and crisp, which is a huge plus. I don’t want to smell like a flower or a piece of fruit, I just want to smell…clean. Korres believes in using naturally derived ingredients, no synthetics here. If you’re not concerned with the use of chemicals in your skincare ,although you should be, then try it because it is simply luxurious and it works. I have to admit that the sleek packaging drew me in as well and I like the way it looks on my nightstand. Yes, I am that shallow. I don’t want to be classified as “crunchy”; I prefer “environmentally conscious”.  If you are feeling really indulgent try it after using one of their creamy showergels. Call it a tiny step for the greater good.
