Palm Oil Free
So today on Smartplanet there is an article about LUSH rolling out a new initiative. They plan to change the formula of their soaps to eliminate the use of palm oil. The first offering is their Greenwash Soap. As if we needed another reason to love LUSH.
I can’t wait to try it. Who am I kidding, I was just looking for an excuse to take another trip to LUSH. It’s a nice step and I do think it sends a message. It really is a double edged sword though. I mean palm oil in and of itself isn’t terrible but it’s the way most of it is produced is the problem. Wasn’t life so much easier before you had to worry about if your soap could cause cancer or not?
Please let me know if anyone has tried this soap yet, I can’t wait to check it out myself.
