Planet Green Launch

Tomorrow night Planet Green, the new “green” lifestyle channel officially launches. The new Discovery channel will feature environmental news and shows. I’m particularly interested in Stuff Happens, which is one of their new shows hosted by Bill Nye. I puffy heart Bill Nye. Is anyone excited to watch this new channel? I think it’s a great idea to have a network that gathers a lot of environmental information in one place and offers up a variety of views. My only reservation is that it kinda looks like it’s trying too hard to be trendy and hip. Where there’s trendy, there’s fluff and fluff doesn’t last. i.e on their lineup is a show called Hollywood Green which will focus on celebs and “starlets” green efforts. Alright awesome! Because I have been dying to know if Lindsay Lohan recycles her empty cans of Red Bull after she downs them with Vodka. *Snort* I will reserve further judgement until I actually have sampled the network. Thoughts?
