Recipes for the Skin.
As I promised yesterday, here are a few more great homemade skin care recipes, from skin care expert, Raechel Cunningham.
These recipes are all for facial masks. I will be trying The Strawvocado Mask, for sure.
The Mama Mia For Acne
Ingredients
* 1 clove of garlic minced
* ½ tomato with seeds finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon tomato juice
* 1 egg white
Whip all ingredients together and apply to skin. It is best to lie down after application to insure the ingredients stay put or….. if you have any gauze pads, take 1 and unfold it. Cut a hole for your eyes and mouth. Moisten the gauze pad and press it against your skin following with the application of this mask. The Gauze helps the mask to stick.
The Strawvocado For Dry skin
Ingredients
* 1 mashed strawberry
* 1 teaspoon of honey
* ¼ avocado meat mashed
* 1 teaspoon of wheat flour
Whip together and apply to skin. Leave on 3-5 minutes.
The Blue Banana For Normal/Dry
Ingredients
* 3-5 blueberries
* 2-3 circular slices of a banana
* 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
Mash together and apply. Leave on 3-5 minutes. If mask is too firm add a drop of apple juice.
The Soother For All skin types
Ingredients
* ½ lemon
* 1 tablespoon of honey
* 1 tablespoon of honey
Mix together and apply. If mask is too soupy than you can add more honey or wheat flour to firm it up. Leave on 3-5 minutes.
