German anti-trust officials recently fined the German units of nine companies for, essentially, price fixing by sharing information on pricing and marketing strategies.
The fines totalled about $15.7 million.
Details, here.
What’s all your take about this? Is this fine enough to act as a detriment to others? Should this kind of behavior warrant a fine at all? […]

Erm…okay where do I start? Has anyone read the book Gorgeously Green? I cannot comment on how helpful or well written the book is since I have not had the chance to check it out. I will just comment on the website. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way. Could it be the rampant […]

I have a really bad habit of obsessive hair brushing. Even when I’m not going anywhere I may walk into the bathroom and brush my hair 4-5 times a day. Does it look better? Um, no but it makes me feel better. “They” say that the best hairbrush to use is made with wood and […]

I’m back, sorry about the hiatus. Computer problems galore however now I have lots to share with you. I know we talk a lot here about soaps and other frivolities. Hygiene is such a large part of our day in this and many other countries. The thing is though to many people soap is not […]

I just came across Anita Grant’s hair and skin care lines and I am actually salivating. After having a bad experience with conventional products she decided that she could make her own products using natural ingredients. Here goal was to demystify the process and ingredients so that the consumer can be empowered to do it […]

I saw these great little towelettes from Herban Essentials in a magazine recently and I thought they were such a great idea. Basically they’re just wet wipes made with natural ingredients. We will be travelling next month to Florida and I think I may pick these up to bring along since we won’t really be able to […]

J.R. Watkins has just expanded their product line to include natural home care. I haven’t tried many of their personal care products but I will be trying them out in the near future. What I like about them is that they are pretty much available everywhere; even the big box stores. Their personal care products are free of […]
