You Could Fry An Egg

It’s just been hotter than Hades here in my neck of the woods and I have been contemplating turning my home into a water park. Maybe some slides and wading pools so we can sorts swim from one room to another in an inner tube. Then there’s the whole ruin everything you own, destroy the property bit…whatever. It would be worth it anyway. I’ve just been flopping around in rags eating vast quantities of fruit and drinking my weight in water. In an ill-fated attempt to amuse the bug we went out on a day described as “hotter than the sun” and I was too hot and disgusted to stop at the beauty counter to buy body butter.

Can you imagine? Yes it was just that hot. I did however get the names of a few products I would like to try and should I ever regain my strength, I may even go back. Wash Away the Oil face wash from Carol’s Daughter was especially appealing despite the incredibly stank sales girls. Don’t you hate it when you go to buy something and the sales people act like they are doing you a favor by even conversing with you? Anyway. When it cools off I think I will try it. Has anyone tried it out yet? Let me know!
